There is no complete trip to Arenal without taking our Volcano Hike!
The tour begins with a 15 minute-trip to the far west side of Arenal Volcano, at your arrival our guide will explain you everything about the Volcanoes formation, eruption and contributions to Fortuna is model development.
This is the best way to look at the volcano lava flowing from a safe point and the best panoramic view of the volcano!
Then you will submerge in a primary Tropical rain forest, where you will spend about 1 ½ hour exploring the Silencio Trail, which is located in a private primary forest, facing the majestic Arenal Volcano.
Our certified bilingual naturalist guide will point-out indigenous rain forest plants and tell you about their medicinal properties.
At dark, after visiting the trail, we will continue to the observation point, which offers the closest and most direct lava flow vista. Relax; enjoy a drink and listen to the incredible sounds of the volcano. If the cloud cover is high enough, expect to see a dazzling. Listen to a variety of frogs, toucans, and insects and watch thousands of fireflies.
Your tour can end here or you can continue with a refreshing three-hour thermal hot springs.
