You will discover the biodiversity of the Caribbean as you hike through the wild beauty of the flora and tropical fauna and by the agricultural culture of the coastal area of Costa Rica. You will walk across the property of cacao plantations in mountains above Puerto Viejo. You will learn about the development the cacao plantations and their culture, which years ago, was the basis of the economy for families in this area. In addition you will have the opportunity to observe the current agricultural cultures like pimienta, the moscada nut, cashews, cannon, cinnamon, etc. You will be able to see a great variety of frogs, and some of the 350 species of birds that live in the region. Includes snacks and Caribbean lunch.
